June Team Meeting

Senior Systems Change Expert

It was such a pleasure to welcome a visitor Hindpal Singh Bhui, Trustee from the Triangle Trust to this week’s team meeting at Abianda. The meeting flowed so naturally, and it was lovely to have someone join us who genuinely understood and valued our culture and strengths-focused approach.

I always find it inspiring to hear from people who are so passionate about creating change. Listening to the work he does across the world to make prisons better places for some of the most vulnerable people was both humbling and motivating.

The meeting reminded me of something I deeply believe: that real change happens collectively. Every conversation, every relationship, and every piece of work we do may seem small on its own, but together they create meaningful steps forward.

Working to improve the criminal justice and prison systems is not easy, but moments like this remind me why the work matters so much. Seeing the impact we can have on young women and girls who have experienced exploitation and adversity gives me hope for what is possible when people come together with shared values and a commitment to change.

I left the meeting feeling grateful, inspired, and reminded that lasting change is only possible when we work collectively.
