Anger Volcano at NHYC

Our Participation team headed to New Horizon Youth Centre this June for their Women's Drop In session. We delivered our Anger Volcano activity, which explores different unmet needs related to feelings of anger.

We had important conversations around how unmet needs, such as not having 'shelter' can cause feelings of frustration and stress, and how that can lead to anger, which we discussed shows itself in different ways for different people.

We also spoke about how anger is an important emotion to recognise as it is telling us something is not happening for us. We discussed what we can do to help us to feel better - sleeping, eating and getting outside were important for this group! We look forward to having more conversations with young women about topics that are important to them.
